8/25/2023 0 Comments Diablo iii act ivIn this next location, you’re mostly just facing the same monsters, with some being a tougher version of what came before. Just try to make your way to the Plains of Despair as quickly as possible. There’s nothing really of note here, so, unless you need to level up, there’s no reason to hang around longer than you have to. The key to this area is to stick to the outside edges and look for the exit. The Flesh Spawners can quickly overwhelm by spawning minions that deal significant damage. The Venom Lords hit hard in melee combat and have a robust health pool. Those two will likely give you the most trouble. Be on the lookout for Venom Lords and Flesh Spawners. They still hit hard, but are a bit easier to deal with. Unlike the powered-up Knights you’ll encounter later, these can’t shoot projectiles. The Outer Steppes also has a powered-up version of the Leaper you saw in Act 2, as well as the first version of Oblivion Knights. These can do some damage, but if you’re around level 28, you should be fine. Neither will the Corpulents who will eat corpses around them and use that to launch entrails at you. The mana-draining Doom Mages likely won’t be too difficult to overcome. He can be found in the Plains of Despair, which means you’ll first need to work your way through the Outer Steppes. You need to kill Izual, the Fallen Angel. This first quest is pretty straightforward. When you’re ready, speak with Tyrael to start the first quest. We also recommend sticking with the desert mercenary as he can survive some of Diablo’s attacks and serve as a great distraction when you need a second to regroup. This is especially true when you face Diablo himself, as he deals a ton of lightning and fire damage. You want to continue investing in gear that brings up your class’s core stats, while also targeting resistance-boosting items. That doesn’t mean Act IV is a pushover though. You only have three quests to complete before you’re facing off against the Lord of Terror. In fact, the entire fourth act is relatively compact. That makes it easy to find the four NPCs that you’ll need to talk to for new quests, purchase repairs, and the like. Immediately upon loading into Act IV, you’ll notice that the town is much smaller than everything before.
